Wes Bentley joins American Horror Story: Hotel

Another American Horror Story alum is checking into Hotel: Wes Bentley has joined the cast of the upcoming installment of the FX anthology series.

“Thrilled to announce Wes Bentley will be a series regular on AHS: Hotel,” executive producer Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter.

Bentley, who previously appeared as Edward Mondrake during Freak Show’s run, joins the previously cast Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson for the upcoming season—though all of their roles are being kept under wraps.

Best known for his role in American Beauty, Bentley’s recent credits include The Hunger Games andInterstellar.

The 13-episode fifth season of American Horror Storyis expected to debut in October.

Wes Bentley, star of American Beauty and The Hunger Games, is suddenly everywhere. Over the weekend, he appeared in two new movies: Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar and A.J. Edwards’s The Better Angels, an ethereal, black-and-white drama that explores Abraham Lincoln’s childhood. In the latter, Bentley plays a soft-spoken school teacher who enters our future 16th president’s life and nudges him towards greatness.
